O.k.

So I am happy that I’m not the only Filipino with a Fascination with photographic Zines; that they are a valuable medium to show true and original work even if it is not the usual punk aesthetic. (I’m sure I’m not the only one in the country but allow me to exaggerate.)

And it also helps that the aesthetic they went with is the “unconscious photography” (Dan Abbe, 2012) that I am thankful in seeing. I like the intelligent design in the cover but I guess I have to touch the zine itself to grasp what they are trying to say with the photos.

All I can hope for is they can achieve or at least get close to what a collaborative work should look like which is Mika Kitamura and Yuki Watanabe achieved in their series, Two Sights Past
